Wimberley, Texas
You are invited to retreat into stillness and sacred sound.
The Sadhana, Sound, and Silence Retreat offers a gentle turning inward—an intentional slowing that softens external distractions and opens space for deep listening. This silent retreat is designed to hold a spacious, reverent container for introspection, restoration, and remembrance of the Self.
Over four nights and three full days, we will gather in the early hours of the Amrit Vela for daily Sadhana (spiritual practice), immerse ourselves in the sacred sound technologies of gong, singing bowls, and mantra, and rest within the luminous field of Yogic Silence—often described as the Golden Light that arises when sound and stillness meet.
Our home for this retreat is The Forest Sanctuary of The One, a medicine temple nestled within the juniper forests of Wimberley, Texas. Practice will take place in a striking dodecagonal maloka, 36 feet in diameter, loosely inspired by the Munay Sonqo maloka of Peru’s Sacred Valley. The space is crowned with a spiraled roof design that draws the eye—and the awareness—toward a central selenite altar, creating a powerful energetic axis for prayer, sound, and silence.
Outside of structured practice, guests are encouraged to rest deeply and move at an unhurried pace. Time is available for swimming in a natural spring, hiking the surrounding land, journaling, integration, and quiet contemplation. A sauna and the gentle presence of the forest offer further support for nervous system regulation and embodied rest.
Throughout our time together, you will be nourished with homemade meals prepared with care using seasonal ingredients sourced from local organic farms, along with warming herbal teas and beverages. The food is intentionally simple, grounding, and supportive of both silence and Sadhana—designed to sustain without distraction.
This retreat is an invitation to take time for your Self—to settle into the silence that has always lived within you, and to emerge feeling clear, restored, and renewed.
All levels of yogic experience are welcome, from beginners to seasoned practitioners.
